This fifth-generation Toyota Celica GT is a Japanese classic that we're working to bring back to the road after spending several years off the road.

The car has needed attention to its fuel system, including a failed fuel pump and deteriorated fuel system components. We're also assessing the bodywork and underbody, with repairs and rust prevention forming part of the wider preparation.

The aim is to address the issues properly and preserve this example of Toyota's early-1990s sporting coupés, rather than simply getting it running and moving it on.

We'll document the work as the project progresses, including the mechanical repairs, bodywork and preparation needed to bring the Celica back to the road.
